Coalition will deliver for Mermaid Beach

The Mermaid Beach community called for an upgrade and, if elected, the Coalition will deliver.

A Dutton-led Coalition government will continue the Coalition’s strong track record of delivering for the Gold Coast with funding secured to revamp the Mermaid Beach Bowls Club.

Federal Member for Moncrieff, Angie Bell is proud to deliver the funding for a much needed shade structure if a Coalition government is elected.

“This funding commitment will substantially boost the club’s presence and appearance whilst protecting members and guests from the elements,” Ms Bell said.

“To stay healthy, we need regular activities that connect us with others, and Mermaid Beach Bowls Club caters to all ages and abilities.

“The installation of a new shade structure will greatly benefit the local community, members and visitors to the Gold Coast who partake in bowls at the club.”

Mermaid Beach Bowls Club has a high participation rate, hosts elite competitions, is a host club for the Australian Open and was one of the venues involved in the 2018 Commonwealth Games Operational Trials Program.

Only a Dutton Coalition government will provide this support with a strong economic management plan for Australia’s future.

It’s all part of The Coalition’s plan to get Australia back on track.
