LNP kicks $49,000 goal for Southport Sharks Junior’s

Federal Member for Moncrieff, Angie Bell, has announced that an elected Liberal National Government will deliver $49,000 in funding for upgrades at the Southport Sharks AFL club, including a new first aid hut and two player boxes.

“Providing high-quality, safe and secure first aid care to junior players in any sport is crucial, but due to Labor cutting funding across several grant programs, Labor has cut off a lifeline for many sporting clubs,” Ms Bell said.

“As a large junior AFL club, the Southport Sharks need facilities that provide a high quality and safe experience to the players, and under a Liberal National Government, this will become a reality.

“This is a big win for junior players, officials and parents.

“By securing this funding as a federal election commitment, we show our dedication and passion for supporting the local community.”
