JobKeeper

Well, Labor really are struggling to be relevant as an opposition at the moment, and that’s never clearer than when they talk about JobKeeper. In fact, they love to say it was their idea—when it suits them, of course. The truth is that on the other side of the House they are huge fans of […]

City Heart Taskforce (CHT) Launches Regular Column in the Gold Coast Bulletin

Gold Coast Bulletin  Jan 16 2021

‘Today the City Heart Taskforce (CHT) launches its regular column in the Gold Coast Bulletin. As we chart our course for 2021, we are committed to continue to foster opportunities and lead our key industries forward with a focus on jobs, skills and emerging industries. As Convenor and Chair of the CHT, I thank the Gold Coast Bulletin and Editor Rachel Hancock for their commitment and support as we work together on the recalibration of our local economy. As we move from disruption to transition, 2021 will be another year of uncertainty and challenges. It will be dynamic and incredibly hard work for us all. It also signifies hope, aspiration, entrepreneurship and opportunity. That is the epitome of the Gold Coast spirit and together we will meet the challenges ahead’. Creating the Right Conditions for Small Businesses, including Travel Agents

Ms BELL (Moncrieff) (14:34): My question is to the Minister representing the Minister for Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business. Mrs […]

In my maiden speech, I talked about advocating for all those in my electorate and across the country on a number of social issues including domestic […]

Ms BELL (Moncrieff) (18:27): I rise to make a contribution to this debate across the chamber on the Social Services and Other Legislation Amendment (Extension of Coronavirus Support) Bill 2020. I’d like to talk about some evidence the member for Dunkley was asking for. She said that those on the other side of the chamber stand […]
