Angie Bell is the Federal Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education. She’s a member of the Liberal National Party of Queensland and the Member for Moncrieff, but for the past few days she has been touring the Mallee, investigating the child care services available in the region. Shadow Minister, good morning.
After promising Australian families cheaper child care, Labor’s policy failure has instead delivered higher prices, with out of pocket costs increasing by 12.1 per cent in the last 12 months.
The Albanese Labor Government continues to unleash their unrelenting wrath on small business and it is disgraceful. Australians rely heavily on small, and family owned and operated businesses in our everyday lives – be it your child care operator, sporting coach, dog groomer, GP, local accountant or your favourite café owner, winemaker or brewer.

The Coalition will strongly oppose Labor’s new Misinformation Bill, which Federal Member for Moncrieff, Angie Bell, described as an attack on free speech. When the Government released its first Misinformation Bill last year, more than 20,000 people put in submissions and comments opposing it, and so it was withdrawn in disgrace.
Australia’s housing challenges under the Albanese Government’s watch are very real. Labor continues to fail on housing policies that have not made a difference to Gold Coast families and as a result, the crisis is only going to worsen. They don’t have the economic prowess nor the ideas to address the nation’s housing crisis and the simple fact that there are just not enough homes.
