Gold Coasters who care about jobs in Nerang, Highland Park, Carrara and Worongary must kick them both out at the Queensland State Election!

The good people of Moncrieff are working hard to build a better future for their families. They know that the Morrison Government is backing them. The Federal Budget delivers just that.

There is a lingering cause however for anxiety though, as they look North to Brisbane, the Palaszczuk State Government. Mr Deputy Speaker, they know that the Palaszczuk-Trad experiment, that has failed Queensland well before the pandemic struck, holds no hope for recovery now.

They have also had a taste of Labor incompetence locally, Mr Deputy Speaker. In Australia’s capital of tourism on the Gold Coast, the Assistant Minister for Tourism Industry Development, the Member for Gaven, Meaghan Scanlon, appointed by Premier Palaszczuk has been absent.

Apologies Mr Speaker, I misspoke, let me correct the record. It’s pretty clear that Palaszczuk’s factional and union masters don’t let her appoint Ministers and let’s face it, even if the Queensland Premier does appoint more dud ministers, it’s only a matter of time before she blames the Chief Medical Officer for those decisions, just like those callous border decisions, but I digress.

Back to my point that the State Member for Gaven, has failed to stand up for the Gold Coast and has failed to stand up for tourism jobs. She has failed to stand up for the very industry that she’s supposed to fight for. Of course, on the Gold Coast there is a different title for the Premier and her Assistant Tourism Minister and that’s Palaszczuk Chief Economy Wrecker and her Assistant Minister for Tourism Industry Destruction. Gold Coasters who care about jobs in Nerang, Highland Park, Carrara. Kick them out.
